Connecticut is probably the most picturesque of all states, known for the small-town charm and amazing autumn seasons with the trees turning from green to red, orange and yellow in the most spectacular way. But once again, the cost of living and taxes are quite high, sometimes too high for retirees monthly checks to cover. David Dill, a Connecticut native, said on Quora, “Taxes are very high.
