Alabama has been ranked as one of the worst states to live in, in a number of different studies at that. Things such as safety, health, income, education, even access to broadband internet were a few of the considerations in a some of the surveys. A number of people share that the state offers low wages, yet they charge high sales tax in certain cities. Plus its yet another state with incredibly finicky weather, making it difficult for older retirees to deal with the cold, the storms, and the tornados it usually has to worry about each year.
