Patrick Swayze began his career as a dancer before finding success on Broadway. He truly fit the role in Dirty Dancing, but was also remembered as the lead character in the film Ghost which moved many viewers to tears. Well, many did shed tears upon learning of his death due to pancreatic cancer. And more shed tears when they saw how it affected him, the once good-looking, sexy, hunk of a man deteriorated into a shrivelled and weak pitiful being. Cancer does that to most of its victims. Swayze actually discovered his cancer late, he had stage IV pancreatic cancer just a year before his death. Why it was not diagnosed earlier is a mystery. Well he has moved on to a better place, for those who believe in that. Rest in peace always Mr. Swayze.
