The Park Around The Main Train Station

Referred to by locals as “Sherwood,” the park around Praha hlavni nadrazi or the main train station in Prague, is not a place you would want to be in at night. The busiest railway station in the Czech Republic, the station is just a 5-minute walk from Wenceslas Square and 15 minutes away from the Old Town Square. It is reported as a popular hangout of the city’s homeless people, and drug addicts who would beg for money and even be aggressive in doing so. If you have to use the train station at night, avoid going there using the tram, as you will have to walk through the park to get to the station.
