Joseph Robinett Biden, Jr. is an American politician who served as America’s 47 vice-president from 2009 to 2017. He is currently running for president. He ran for president also in 1988 and 2008. He does seem like a strong contender this year, against Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren, Vermont senator Bernie Sanders, and of course Donald Trump. Biden became a lawyer in 1969, and was first elected to the US senate in 1972. He got married in 1966, when he was still a law student. His wife was Neilia Hunter, who came from an affluent family. Unfortunately, she passed away in 1972, but gave Biden three children – Joseph R. Biden III (1969), Robert Hunter Biden (1970), and Naomi Christina (1971). Biden remarried in 1977 to his current wife Jill Biden. This presidential candidate was a good looking young man (he still is though), but you may not recognize him in his old pictures.
