Sir Patrick Stewart is an English actor, director, and producer. He has been involved with stage, TV, and film, through 7 decades. He began his career with a long run with the Royal Shakespeare Company, a major British theatre company. He became popular after he started working with American television and film, particularly for the X-Men series and the Star Trek captain, Jean-Luc Picard. He received a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1996, and was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for services to drama, in 2010. Recently, rumors spread that he passed away, causing concerns among fans. But a report this month confirmed that it was all a hoax. Stewart is going to be 80 years old this July 13, but you may not have recognized him in photos of his younger days, before he worked in American TV and films.
