She believed that there was no harm in trying to open the door, especially since she knocked twice. But, she expected the door to be locked, after all, she taught her daughter well. Still, she tried the door, and to her surprise, it was not locked, and it opened. She felt a little disappointed that McKenna would be so careless, but at the same time relieved that the door gave her access to the room. But again she got surprised, when the door swung open. It was a game-changer… something she did not plan on, again.
