She knew she was lost, and she was worried that she may not be able to pull off her surprise. The thought bothered her, but it seemed it was doomed to fail. She thought about reaching out to McKenna’s friends for help, but they may ruin the planned surprise. So many thoughts raced through her mind as she stumbled around looking for her daughter’s building. She kept an eye out for McKenna’s friends for two reasons. First of all, she didn’t want to be recognized by them. Secondly, she may be able to follow them back to their building. She was hoping to see a familiar face in the crowd, but was losing hope. She finally pulled out her phone, ready to call McKenna and give up the surprise. But, some relief came her way.
