The good news was that eventually Deanna found her daughter. While it did not go as she planned, she was still relieved the ordeal was over. She embraced McKenna, and the two of them couldn’t stop laughing! It is amazing they found humor in the experience, others would have been mortified. Still, Deanna admitted she felt fear and panic, aside from embarrassment. As for McKenna, “I just could not stop laughing at her,” she said. “ I thought she was such a dork, and it’s just something she would do.” Well, they were finally able to see each other, and had a funny story to tell when they headed back to NYC. Surely Deanna felt happy it was all over. But was it?
