The AMA lost track of Swango soon after firing him. And while he seemingly fell off the face of the earth, he had actually managed to land a job in the psychiatric residency program at the State University of New York. Four months later, Kinney committed suicide, and during the autopsy, the pathologist found arsenic in her body. This was an obvious sign that someone had attempted to kill her. This prompted Kinney’s mom to file a complaint.
