Many of those he worked with noticed how fascinated Swango was with dying patients. He seemed to like being around them all the time. There was something about caring for someone at the brink of death, or so they assumed he thought. Nonetheless, his professors believed that he was more than capable of the difficult task and gave him the job of caring for these patients. No one really noticed how many of these people ended up coding. In fact, records state that at least five people had died under his care and many of them even got sicker.
