Although the photo on the right is not actually a Sports Illustrated magazine cover, some very popular SI models were asked to appear in a photoshoot for an ad campaign for DirecTV. Models like Hannah Davis, Nina Agdal and Chrissy Teigen were made to dress up as ‘frumpy moms, crazy cat ladies and women selling lunch.’ When people saw the photos, they thought they ‘were sexist and demeaning to the working class,’ not truly understanding exactly what point they were trying to get across. Needless to say it was the last time they did something like this.
