Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition has had tons of models to pose for them, but Australian model Elle Macpherson has had the most with at least 5 covers all to herself. After this 1988 Thailand-shoot cover came out, Macpherson was dubbed “The Body” by fans all around the world, and it’s easy to see why. While the magazine has had a number of thrilling, naughty, controversial, risqué, playful and wicked photos all throughout the years, they’ve also managed to remain one of the most popular publications out there, which just means that they must be doing something right.
