Tyra Banks has had an illustrious career as a model, being the first African American to actually grace the swimsuit edition cover of SI back in 1996 with another model, Valeria Mazza. Despite Banks retiring from modeling a while back, she went on to have her own talk show, host America’s Next Top Model, as well as do many other things, including coming back to grace the cover of SI’s swimsuit edition once more at 45-years old. Not only did she agree, but she came back with a vengeance wearing a teenie tiny yellow sans polka dots bikini that totally sizzled! Banks shared, “I am telling people that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and ages. I have to put my money where my mouth is. I have to make sure my message is pure.”
