Birk is a former American football center drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 6th round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He is a two-time All-Pro, six time Pro Bowl selection, and a Super Bowl champion. He played college football at Harvard, and graduated with a degree in economics. It is no surprise that he scored a 46 in the Wonderlic test, as most Harvard graduates score among the top. In 2002, Birk established the HIKE Foundation which seeks to improve reading skills of some 100,000 Baltimore at-risk students from elementary through college. For this, he received the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2011.  This Super Bowl champion who is a 15 year veteran of the NFL, is co-founder and CEO of Matt Birk and Company. His company does consulting, facilitating, seminars, presentations, and media coaching.
