He played 8 seasons in the NFL as a wide receiver. Drafted by the Denver Broncos in the 2010 NFL Draft, he played college football and baseball for the University of Minnesota. This all around athlete also showed his smarts when he scored a 43 on the Wonderlic test. He married country singer Jessie James, with whom he has 3 children. He retired to spend more time with his family, his first priority, with football second. However, there still is a possibility of an NFL comeback, should he remain healthy. Decker and wife Jessie became reality television stars with their Eric and Jessie: Game On show. It aired for 3 seasons which premiered on September 29 of 2013.
