This former quarterback for the NFL is the current color commentator for ESPN College Football. He was drafted by the Broncos in the 1998 NFL Draft. During his rookie year, he earned a Super Bowl ring with the Broncos who were led by John Elway. Following Elway’s retirement in 1999, Griese became the starting quarterback for the Broncos. He then went on to play for the Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears, and retired after a 2nd stint with the Buccaneers in 2009. He scored 39 out of 50 in the Wonderlic test. He graduated from Michigan with a degree in political science. Griese is the founder and board chair of Judi’s House, a children’s grief support center in Denver, Colorado. It is named in honor of his mother Judi, who passed away when he was 12 years old due to breast cancer.
