Henson is a former MLB third baseman, and NFL quarterback. He played college football for the University of Michigan, and was drafted by the Houston Texans in the 2003 NFL Draft. His score on the Wonderlic is 43 out of 50, which is well within the range of exceptionally intelligent players. Henson left Michigan to sign up with the New York Yankees MLB team. Apparently his dream to play baseball was realized, he then went back to football. He left the NFL in 2009 after being released by the Detroit Lions. As of 2015, he was active in organized baseball as a member of the Yankees’ professional scouting staff. He says he really enjoys his job scouting, especially since he retired from playing football and baseball professionally. How many athletes can achieve that?
