Not just a brilliant linebacker, but a phenomenal scholar as well. Sam Acho graduated from the University of Texas with a 3.62 GPA. He was awarded the William V. Campbell trophy, which is given to college football’s top scholar-athlete. He can also speak fluently in three languages, English, Spanish, and Igbo (a Nigerian dialect). Acho was drafted in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He played four seasons with the Cardinals before he suited up for the Chicago Bears. Just this August, the Buffalo Bills announced they had signed him up. He is also well respected among his peers. In 2016 and 2017, he was Chicago’s Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee, an award that recognizes civic and professional contributions.
