Kids and adults alike love Transformers, and when it made its debut back in the 80s, kids were obsessed with all things Optimus Prime or Bumblebee. Much like the beloved transforming robots themselves, they also had a bunch of weapons like this Generation 1 Megatron that also transformed from a robot into a “to-size replica of a Walter P-38 pistol, complete with scope, silencer and stock.” In fact, it looked so real that apparently someone managed to rob a convenience store with it, successfully too. Eventually, they not only banned it from manufacturing, but they were also banned from being carried around in public too.
