Kids loved Tarzan for a number of reasons. He lived in the jungle amongst the animals, was rasied by wolves, had long flowing hair and knew how to have a good time! And after the first movie was released in 1999, everyone wanted their very own doll. So when Mattel made the Rad Repeatin’ Tarzan doll, every kid harassed their parents until they got one. But what parents soon realized was that his rad repeatin’ motion was to move his right hand in an up and down motion while making some very suggestive jungle sounds that made people think he was doing something else completely. Eventually the toy was recalled due the “suggestive hand motion” which really, was no surprise to anyone.
