Sky Dancers were quick to fly off the shelves when they first hit the market, and kids were delighted in the way the pretty dolls would fly and zoom all over the room. But what the toy company didn’t expect to happen was the over 100 customers that complained about ‘black eyes, welts and nasty bruises’ that came from owning one of these flying ladies. Eventually the toy became so dangerous that they ended up being recalled, but surprisingly they were never banned from being sold in stores. Thankfully not too many parents buy them anymore.
