Don’t Forget To Look Before You Jump

Don’t let the heat get you too excited and make you jump into lakes or ponds to cool off without taking the necessary precautions.  You may think that wearing sunscreen will protect you from the sun but it won’t protect you from what’s possibly in the water.  There is a reason Florida is known for its alligators, as according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, there are approximately 1.3 million alligators across the state of Florida, which means there would be at least one for every 15 people.  Inhabiting marshes, swamps, rivers, and lakes, it would be best to keep those figures in mind as you don’t want to be in the water with them.
