Lee Meriweather
One of Lee Meriweather’s first Hollywood breaks was on The Today Show as a Today Girl. She got her big break after winning three consecutive titles in competitions, first Miss San Francisco, then as Miss California, eventually bagging the Miss America crown in 1955. This also led to her work on television shows before gaining popularity and becoming a sought after film actress. Probably one of her most famous roles was as for the character of Lily Munster on the reprised series, renamed The Munsters Today. She’s had a long and busy Hollywood career that amazingly has lasted for over 50 years.
