Dame Joan Plowright has been acting in front of the screen for at least 60 years. From television to being on stage in play to acting in films, this British actress has done it all. While she’s gone on to win two Golden Globes, been nominated for an Academy Award, won two BAFTA awards, there is one in particular that’s extra special. She also won a Laurence Olivier Award, which is ironic considering she was married to him until his death in 1989.
