Born Sofia Costanza Brigida Villani Scicolone, Sophia Loren is an Italian actress that took Hollywood by storm, although her early life didn’t seem like that was going to be the case. As a child, she was considered extremely thin, and growing up in poverty didn’t help. However, by the age of 14, she seemingly blossomed overnight and eventually became known as the incredibly beautiful and voluptuous star that she was known for. At 15, she starred in her first Italian film, eventually getting work in America when she was just 23.
