Paul Newman

Knightley Emma

With his piercing blue eyes and incredibly good looks, Paul Newman was the epitome of Hollywood star. He decided to turn to acting after getting kicked off the football team, with one of his first stints on Broadway. He then starred in a number of movies, although not all were well received at first. Eventually, he caught a break but really turned heads in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof across Elizabeth Taylor, but truly wowed in The Hustler, Cool Hand Luke and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Despite his prolific acting career, Newman never won an Academy Award, although they did finally honor him in 1986 to make up for their mistake. He was also known for his penchant for racing cars, and even voiced the role of Doc Hudson in Disney’s beloved animated film, Cars.
