Joanne Woodward was a television actress back in the 50s, before she finally got a break in 1955 where she played the starring role in the film, The Three Faces of Eve. Her portrayal of the main character that had three different personalities was so amazing, she won the Academy Award for Best Actress that year. She continued to work through the years, both in film and on television, and also received a Golden Globe, Primetime Emmy and BAFTA for her work.
