Elizabeth Taylor is known for many things, but her gorgeous blue eyes that tended to look violet were one of the things that topped the list. She began her career in childhood, and continued to rise in popularity and fame. At 12-years old, she got her breakout role in National Velvet, and nothing could stop her then. But while her career was flourishing, so was her love life. She was tied to such celebrities as Howard Hughes, James Dean, and Richard Burke, who from all of her seven husbands, she actually married twice. She’s won numerous awards and was even given the American Film Institute’s “Life Achievement Award.”
