Adriana Gascoigne, Founder And CEO Of Girls In Tech

Adriana Gascoigne is the perfect blend of beauty, brains, vision, charisma, and drive. She founded and runs Girls in Tech, an international non-profit organization dedicated to the education, empowerment, engagement, and mentoring of women in the technology industry. The CEO and activist graduated from the University of California with a degree in Sociology and Economics then worked as a marketing executive for many companies, including RxMatch, QwikCart, Ogilvy & Mather, and SecondMarket. After noticing that she was the only woman in a tech company with almost 50 employees, she decided to establish Girls in Tech in San Francisco in 2007. She launched the second chapter in Los Angeles in July 2008 and the third one in New York in December of the same year. The first international chapter was launched in London on January 2009, and as of July 2015, the organization continues to expand with almost 50 chapters in North America, South America, Africa, Asia, The Middle East, and Europe.
