Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton is an expert when it comes to self-care and relaxation, redefining what it means for busy and multitasking women like herself to slow down and pamper themselves in a hectic city like New York. When she realized that the typical spas don’t really address a modern woman’s relaxation needs, she and her husband, Adam Fulton, decided to build Chillhouse, a boutique-style café and day spa where customers can choose from a wide range of services, including a massage that can “cure” hangovers, while they enjoy their wellness-based latte. Aside from building her wellness empire, Ramirez also conducts workshops and speaks in panels, promoting female empowerment while demonstrating how her hard work, resourcefulness, and entrepreneurial spirit led her to where she is now. Despite dropping out of college twice, the boss babe went on to combine her passion and knowledge in self-care and hospitality, launched Chillhouse, extended her brand with the online publication of The Chill Times, and is soon to open her second Chillhouse spa and café.
