At Super Bowl XXXIV held at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, the St. Louis Rams led the Tennessee Titans 16-6 after three quarters. However, the Titans rallied, and behind running back Eddie George’s 2-yard touchdown and kicker Al Del Greco’s field goal, tied the game at 16-16 with 2:12 left in the game. The Rams responded, and in the first play of their drive, quarterback Kurt Wagner threw a long pass to wide receiver Isaac Bruce, who caught the ball at the Titans’ 38-yard line, then ran it all the way to the end zone for a 73-yard touchdown to give St. Louis the lead. The Titans would fail to score on their ensuing drive and the Rams went on to win the Super Bowl, 23-16.
