Edelman Catch At Super Bowl LI (February 5, 2017)

Source: https://www.nbcsports.com

With about two and a half minutes remaining at Super Bowl LI, and the Atlanta Falcons leading the New England Patriots 28-20, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady fired a 23-yard pass across the middle to wide receiver Julian Edelman. The pass was nearly intercepted by Falcons defensive back Robert Alford, who touched the ball first but couldn’t pull it in. Julian Edelman then dove for the ball against two other defenders, Falcons safeties Ricardo Allen and Keanu Neal. The ball bounced off the shoe of Alford and it appeared Edelman would lose it but Edelman managed to snatch the ball before it hit the ground, completing the 23-yard pass that would set the stage for a Patriots comeback.
