A 64-yard touchdown run by wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald that gave the Arizona Cardinals their first lead of the game at 23-20 would pave the way for the best play of Superbowl XLIII. With 2:37 remaining, the Pittsburgh Steelers managed to take it to the Cardinals’ 6-yard line. In the next play, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger pumped the ball to the direction of wide receiver Hines Ward which attracted Cardinals cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. Then he threw a perfect pass that went through three defenders and found wide receiver Santonio Holmes, who caught the ball and managed to keep his toes down about an inch from the end zone to complete the touchdown. The Steelers then went on to win 27-23.
