When greeting someone from Switzerland, a little dose of tourist tact will help you enjoy meeting people.  In Switzerland, academic and professional tittles are used frequently.  So, remember to address the Swiss by title, such as ‘Dr.’, if you happen to know their title.  Otherwise, use ‘Mr’, Mrs’, or ‘Miss’ if you are speaking English.
