Do Not Criticize the Arepas

Arepas are the local cornbread type that is served with your food. The thick ones mostly served in restaurants (they look like balls of dough) are not yummy as the inside remains uncooked and doughy. But do not say anything negative about it, just say they were good. Locals believe that this should be enjoyed by tourists. They take pride in making foreigners try their local delicacies. Lying to avoid insulting people is not bad. But the Arepas that are served in stalls and are thin, crispy, and even slightly burned are awesome, do try them.
