Don’t Expect Well-Paved Roads

The Colombian government does not seem to mind that most roads have missing parts of the pavement. It seems it is not a priority issue. Driving or walking may be uncomfortable. Always watch your step as you may step into a hole and stumble. Don’t assume that cities have no dilapidated and battered roads. Some roads and sidewalks are so worn-out, walking on them is quite hazardous. This also makes it stroller and wheelchair unfriendly. It’s not easy, but you will get the hang of it…just watch your step.
