Don’t Expect Punctuality

Colombians are not known for their punctuality. Most third world countries are similar. They kind of have a laid-back culture. So do not expect time to be of the essence. Make adjustments in your schedules, and try not to be shocked when your 9am pickup arrives around 9:30am. Or expect the buses to be on time. Don’t be surprised as well when you are on time and locals are surprised why you are early. Take your time and enjoy… Relax, you are on vacation.
