Americans again are singled out here. Especially since President Trump imposed new travel restrictions last June of 2019. There are only 18 countries allowed entry without a visa. Obviously the US is not in the list. But neither is England, Canada, France, or Germany. Visas are limited for 60 days – if you can get one. Most are required to purchase a Visa or Tourist Card. If you are flying from US airports to Cuba, you will need the “Pink Tourist Card”. The airline can help you with this. Those flying in from other destinations need a “Green Tourist Card” which is cheaper. Regular tourism is unfortunately not yet allowed, there are categories for Americans to be able to visit Cuba. It is complicated, but not impossible. There are many agencies available to help, so don’t panic.
