While some Cubans can converse in English, majority cannot. Spanish is the spoken language in Cuba. It will serve you best if you learn a few important phrases in Spanish. Also it will gain you admiration from the locals. The top hotels and resorts have trained their staff to converse in English. Aside from that, good luck if you don’t speak Spanish.
