Don’t Forget To Bring Small Gift Items

It is always good to have small gift items with you when you travel. It may be to show appreciation to a host, server, or a friend. Cubans appreciate small tokens from foreign tourists. It may be as simple as small bottles of shampoo, potato chips, candy bars, toys, even school supplies. It does not have to be expensive, anything “imported” will mean a lot to the locals. Even your hotel staff, guides, servers will be very thankful. Some airlines actually allow passengers to bring an extra bag to Cuba for “humanitarian aid” purposes. There is nothing wrong with being generous to the right people.
