If you get lost, you can expect assistance from the locals if you ask for their help. Most will be willing to help any out-of-towners as they are kind and it is the proper thing to do. Besides, you are not expected to really know your way around. Make sure you are polite and show your appreciation. Of course, pick the right person to ask help from. A person rushing to work or home is not the best choice. Or a sleazy, suspicious looking person may actually be a criminal.
