The former trickster expounded that ‘One out of every 50 people fall for the scam and lose thousands of dollars in the process.’ He also warns people that if they should ever get a call from someone that claims they need cash, “you need to pause, calm yourself, say you will have to consult another family member first and hang up.” Because if the story is true, you know that contacting the right people will tell you whether their story is true or not.
