Alien films were huge back in the day. From E.T. to Aliens to Predator, people were obsessed with extra-terrestrial creatures and the idea that the human race isn’t alone in the universe. In the 1984 movie Starman, Jeff Bridges stars as an alien who comes to earth after finding an invitation from earth where he meets widower, Jenny Hayden played by Karen Allen. Viewers not only loved the storyline, but the 1977 orange Ford Mustang Cobra II coupé was yet another prop that everyone fell in-love with too, and for good reason.
