The Doors’ Jim Morrison At Griffith Observatory

Jim Morrison was known for his strange, mystic and even more cryptic and wild personality. His poetic lyrics and distinct voice hypnotized his fans in ways no other singers could. Much like other rock stars and musicians to come out of the 60’s and 70’s, he was found dead in a bathtub from a supposed accidental overdose at the young age of 27. Before his death, Morrison was often photographed by photographer Paul Ferrara, who took most of his pictures. Here, Morrison is posing in front of the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles in 1968.
