The Dean Martin Show’s ‘The Golddiggers’

Groovy History

The Golddiggers were a female singing and dancing group from back in the 70’s. They made their debut on The Dean Martin Show in 1973 and were later on featured in another summer series that spanned three seasons. Although they backed the Dean Martin show, they also did their own performances elsewhere, booking tons of live venues and even performed on Bob Hope’s Christmas tours. While the original members of the troupe performed together from 1968 to 1973, some of the members eventually went on to have solo careers.
