Rock and roll was at an all-time high in the 60’s and 70’s, which meant that rock bands and singers were always together hanging out backstage. This photo from 1978 shows some members of the rock band ‘Cheap Trick’ and singer, Joan Jett, hanging out backstage. Cheap Trick actually found more fame in Japan than they did in their home country of America, but eventually people caught on and they became much more mainstream in 1979 after releasing their album Cheap Trip at Budokan. In 2016, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside other huge music legends.
