In the early days of cybercrime and cyberterrorism, the movie Swordfish made waves as being one of the first of its kind. Even when the movie cast John Travolta as a villain, a role he doesn’t usually play, he still didn’t manage to steal the show. It was Halle Berry that had people watching the movie more than once, mostly because her character goes topless for the role. Berry was reportedly paid an additional $500,000 for taking off her clothes, but she said that her reason for doing wasn’t about the money. She explained, “So much of my life I was afraid to [do a nude scene]. With the success of my Dorothy Dandridge project and the critical acclaim that brought me, I finally felt that I didn’t have to prove myself anymore.”
