Jessica Alba had proven her commitment to her job when it took her all of five minutes to bounce back in her incredible camera-ready form, right after giving birth to her first child. However, despite being featured in five movies released in 2010, Alba decided to step out of Hollywood the following year and focused on her new role as the mother of two girls.

Also, in 2011, Alba pursued a career in business and founded The Honest Company, a consumer goods company that sold safe and eco-friendly baby and household products. Alba was inspired by the birth of her first daughter, as well as her own history of childhood illness, to build a company that provided an alternative to common baby products which often contained harmful chemicals and synthetic fragrances. Alba never really maintained a foothold in the limelight and taking a break from Hollywood at the time was perhaps a smart move.
