Despite having a dozen or so movies since 2011, Jessica Alba confessed that she intentionally let herself drop off the A-list. In one interview, she explained that she stopped acting when she was 27, and it was no longer where she wanted to spend her full energy. The badass hottie ducked out of Hollywood and had her two daughters during what was possibly the peak of her career. While it’s always admirable when a mother doesn’t hesitate to put her children above everything else, this may have also cost Alba her momentum to get back into the vibe and into the spotlight—if she decides to dive back into acting. Over the past years, Alba has often fielded questions about whether she plans to make more movies, and though she answered in 2016 that she’s open to the idea because acting was her passion and her heart, only a year later, her response was distinctly different. In 2017, Alba told reporters the business side was where her heart was.
